LoadReady Privacy Policy

Introduction

LoadReady ("LoadReady", "we", "us") provides a mobile platform that helps pilot car operators, carriers, and dispatch teams manage oversize and overweight load operations. This policy describes how we handle information in connection with the LoadReady app and this website.

By using LoadReady, you agree to the handling of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: the details you provide when creating and maintaining a LoadReady account, such as your name, email address, and information about your role or organization.
• Operational information: the load, dispatch, escort, and job details that you or your team enter into the app in the course of coordinating a move.
• Location information: see the Location Information section below.
• Device and technical information: information your device provides when using the app, such as device type, operating system version, app version, and diagnostic or error information.
• Communications: the content of messages you send to us, such as support requests.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the LoadReady app
• Create and manage accounts and authenticate users signing in
• Support load management, dispatch coordination, and pilot car operations between the people working a job
• Send notifications about job activity relevant to you
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you
• Diagnose technical problems and improve the reliability of the app
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service

Location Information

LoadReady collects location information in order to support the planning, dispatching, and tracking of oversize and overweight load escorts. Location information helps dispatchers, carriers, and pilot car operators working the same job stay coordinated while a move is underway.

Location access is controlled by the permissions you grant on your device. You can review or withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings. If you turn location access off, features that depend on it may not work as intended, while the rest of the app remains usable.

Account Information

A LoadReady account is required to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for the activity that occurs under your account. You can update your account information from within the app, and you can request deletion of your account at any time. See Account Deletion below.

If you use LoadReady as part of a company or fleet, an administrator at that organization may be able to view and manage information associated with your use of the app for that organization.

Communications

We may send you service related communications, such as notifications about job activity, account notices, security alerts, and responses to your support requests. These communications are part of the service.

You can control push notifications through your device settings. Where we send optional or promotional messages, we will provide a way to opt out.

Service Providers

We rely on third party service providers to operate LoadReady, for for example, hosting, database, authentication, and infrastructure providers. These providers process information on our behalf and in order to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose information where we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LoadReady, our users, or the public.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. After that, we may retain certain information where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so, for example, to comply with applicable legal, tax, or recordkeeping obligations, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.

Operational records associated with a load or job may be retained by the carrier, fleet, or organization that created them, in line with their own recordkeeping requirements.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Protecting your account also depends on you: use a strong, unique password, and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

User Choices

• Location. Grant or withdraw location permission in your device settings.
• Notifications. Enable or disable push notifications in your device settings.
• Account details. Review and update your account information in the app.
• Access and deletion. Contact us at privacy@loadready.ai to ask about the information associated with your account or to request its deletion.

Account Deletion

You may request permanent deletion of your LoadReady account at any time. Full instructions are on the Delete Account page. We may need to verify your identity before processing a deletion request, and some information may be retained as described under Data Retention above.

Children's Privacy

LoadReady is a tool for transportation professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@loadready.ai and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of LoadReady after an update means you accept the revised policy.
